Hubby made us an eclipse viewing tent gizmo! (Taken with instagram)
Read this as Chris Rock. Pretty funny stuff.
Ke$ha looks EXACTLY like John Travolta. This is not a face swap. Or is it?
Raw Fruit and Veggie Smoothies
Like most people find it hard to eat my veggies everyday. So I just put them in a blender (or Magic Bullet in my case) with some fruit, water, and a little juice. I prefer this to regular juicing because I like to keep the fiber.
All of these fruits and vegetables went into these two drinks.
• Use any combination of fruits and veggies you like. I try to do lots of greens.
• Water to make it easier to blend and drink.
• Juice (any type) to also to make it easier to blend and drink.
I find it keeps well in the fridge for about 2 days no more than that.
Ghosted Wall Stencil
I wanted a stencil, but not one I would get tired of seeing. It is invisible in certain directions and totally visible in others, changing as you move into other light.
• Stencil Paint: Lowes - Valspar Translucent Color Glaze in Golden Opal Glaze only.
• Wall Paint: Soft White
• Stencil: Moroccan Dream All Over Stencil
* The paint is very hard to see when applying it to the stencil so a lamp that you can move around in different angles is best. It will look like nothing is getting on the wall but it is. Apply paint to stencil as Cutting Edge Stencils recommends.
Cover up an ugly alarm control panel. I did this with a cheap piece of art from TJ Maxx that fits, some hinges, and a magnetic catch so it stays closed.
* I originally planned on painting it with chalkboard paint so I can write reminder notes. That may still happen when I get tired of it. Or paint it the color of the wall so it disappears.
haha more gangster CGI on me.
